How often should I change my tubing/cannulas/humidifier bottles?

Tubing: every 90 days

Cannulas: every 4-6 weeks

Humidifier bottles: every month

Humidifier bottles can be washed on a weekly basis in warm soapy water and rinsed. They can also be soaked for 30 mins in a 1:3 parts solution of vinegar to tap water. Allow to air dry.

How often should I clean or change the filter in my concentrator?

Filters should be cleaned at least once a week. Filters can be cleaned by rinsing them in warm water and letting them air dry.

What type of water should I use in my humidifier bottle?

Distilled water.

What can I do if oxygen dries out my nose?

You can use KY jelly or any other non-petroleum based product.
