QA Specialist

Purpose: The QA Specialist is responsible for the quality assurance function within a patient support center.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspect orders and supporting documentation prior to submitting to the Billing Department to determine if the paperwork is present and completed accurately
  • Coordinate the correction and resubmission of paperwork returned by the Billing Department as non-compliant
  • Inspect order paperwork to determine if all documents required to process the order are present and accurately completed
  • Quality check each order prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy and patient eligibility
  • Work with supervisors on the development and implementation of ongoing training


  • High school graduate
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home medical equipment industry
  • Knowledge of Medicare DMERC guidelines and requirements
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to apply knowledge of DMERC guidelines and company business office procedures to position
